We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internal Audit Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal Audit Manager at our organization is responsible to play a critical role of delivering our organization\u2019s strategic objectives of control processes, adequacy and effectiveness of governance and management of risks, giving an evidence-based opinion on all aspects of governance, risk management, and internal audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report periodically to the Managing Director and Board, on the internal control and audit activity\u2019s purpose, authority, responsibility and performance relative to its plan<\/li>\n<li>Design and prepare Annual Audit Plan (AAP) by applying a risk-based approach to ensure the organization complies with internal regulations and policies and established protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain the internal control and audit procedures to ensure that best practice is taken account of and that the established controls audits address specific areas of risk management.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen the bank\u2019s Internal Control mechanism through in-depth recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Assess the suitability of current internal controls, making suggestions for improvements where needed.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports of audit findings and make recommendations to the Board of Directors and Management.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal advisors and examines documentation, including reports, statements, records, and memos to gather information.<\/li>\n<li>Protect the confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information with legal confines<\/li>\n<li>Analyze audit results for adequate and effective \u201ccorrective actions\u201d for management to improve.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise fraud investigations involving customer accounts and recovery of fraud<\/li>\n<li>Develop controls to ensure safeguard of asset and their effective utilization<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and supervise audit mission, working paper formulations, report writing and anomalies\/risk identification<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties and responsibilities which may be required to meet the objectives of Alert Microfinance Bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND in Accounts and Finance related role.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of Cognate experience as Internal Audit Manager in a Microfinance Bank is a MUST.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered membership of a relevant professional association, e.g. ACA, ICAN, ACCA.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in Management and proficient use of banking software E.g BankOne<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Word<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates ability to identify problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to multi-task to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Promotes team work, contributes towards building team consensus and acts as a team player<\/li>\n<li>Consistently approach work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nVery Attractive (With Incentives and Commission)<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@alertmfb.com.ng\">hr@alertmfb.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using \u201cInternal Audit Manager\u201d as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n22nd October, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alert Microfinance Bank is a leading financial service provider with core mandate of providing affordable, flexible financial and non-financial services to SME, Private and Public Sectors.
