The aims and objective of the job are:<\/p>\n<p>To contribute to the achievement of British Council objectives through the planning, management, delivery and evaluation of\u00a0 country, regional and global products and services<br \/>\nTo lead and manage arts and other projects of global, region and local products and services concerned with Connected Africa .<br \/>\nTo contribute to the the development of BC Nigeria as an innvoative and high performing country operation.<br \/>\nTo model the values and principles of an integrated operation and to ensure that we are aligned with the BC regional and global priorities.<br \/>\nTo actively engage with and support regional developments.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Duties And Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To deliver core products and servces that enhance the scale and impact of our work in this area.<\/li>\n<li>To manage a portfolio of country, regional and global products as defined in the Regional and Country delivery plans in sectors of the British Council programme.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of all products including the compilation of Scorecard data and other evaluation tools required by corporate standards of external clients.<\/li>\n<li>To work across teams and with outreach staff to ensure maximum impact for activity.<\/li>\n<li>To develop new approaches to engagements using web and other broadcast channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply for this post, you will need to read through the Specification for applicants, and complete the application form.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Please note, no CV applications will be processed, only short-listed candidates will be contacted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Deadline is 27 August 2009.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Jobs at British Council Nigeria, Careers at British Council Nigeria - Jobs in Nigeria, Careers Nigeria\" href=\"http:\/\/www.britishcouncil.org\/africa-vacancies.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Click here for more details<\/a> about this job<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British council is recruting for a\u00a0Project Manager (Arts Projects) in Lagos.
