We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Energy Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Department:\u00a0<\/strong>Logistics<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Deputy Head of Department Logistics &#8211; Infrastructure<br \/>\n<strong>Proposed start date:<\/strong> November 2022<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building electrical assessment using the diagnosis tool of Action Against Hunger, local regulation, and rules of the art<\/li>\n<li>Design works to be done to ensure that electrical installations are stable and safe for persons and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Write technical specifications in case of subcontracting works concerning heavy rehabilitations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct check on energy system for energy production<\/li>\n<li>Verify generators are in good working condition, report when maintenance is not done properly, report if installation condition need to be adapted<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose malfunctioning power supply equipment and report faults\/findings<\/li>\n<li>Function as the team lead for all electrification project if carried out internally<\/li>\n<li>Supervise all electrification project undertaken by a third party<\/li>\n<li>Propose and budget for all expected electrification project<\/li>\n<li>Request necessary means to perform emergency works when hazardous situation is discovered<\/li>\n<li>Perform emergency works and repairs after getting appropriate means (parts and\/or budget).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s\u00a0Degree \/ Higher National Diploma in Electrical \/ Electronics Engineering or related fields<\/li>\n<li>Professional certificate(s) and\/or trainings in the energy\/electrical field<\/li>\n<li>Licensed by at least 1 local engineering regulatory body (COREN, NSE)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4 years work experience in similar responsibilities is required<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working for NGOs an asset, particularly international related NGOs<\/li>\n<li>Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal, written and communication skills, approachable, diplomatic, able to maintain confidentiality, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Starting Basic Salary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N421,594 Monthly (excluding other benefits).<\/li>\n<li>Other benefits include but not limited to 100% health care coverage, free and direct access to Cross Knowledge e-learning platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acfinternational.applytojob.com\/apply\/fAWr7jtDbS\/Energy-Officer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n26th October, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Action Against Hunger provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or genetics.<\/li>\n<li>This is an emergency recruitment and we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
