Nile University has over 6,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, 38 undergraduate programs across six faculties, as well as 51 postgraduate programs across six faculties. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Lecturer II<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Jabi, Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Physiology<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that course design and delivery comply with the quality standards and regulations of the university and department.<\/li>\n<li>Lead research and\/or innovation proposals and projects with the potential to generate income, to manage project deliverables, deliver outputs and secure impact.<\/li>\n<li>Work with university stakeholders to identify sources of research funding and lead the process of securing funds.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the delivery of individual and\/or collaborative research projects to time and on budget.<\/li>\n<li>Apply knowledge acquired from research and innovation as well as scholarship to learning and teaching, and appropriate external activities<\/li>\n<li>Lead the production and dissemination of research outputs<\/li>\n<li>Lead the design and production of peer-reviewed publications and\/or practitioner outputs, and\/or disseminate research findings using other appropriate media.<\/li>\n<li>Make presentations at local, national, and international academic and\/or practitioner conferences or exhibit work in other appropriate events.<\/li>\n<li>Developing a record of publication in top-ranked research and scholarly journals.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise undergraduate student projects under guidance and supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess an MBBS qualification or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree in Physiology, Human Physiology, Biomedical Sciences will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of cognate teaching and research experience in physiology<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of contribution to professional development programme designed to improve teaching\/learning, develop skills, raise awareness of pedagogic issues, etc. or a track record of successful support given to others seeking to develop their teaching or the learning experience of their students<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership with evidence of collaborative research work with academics within the university and elsewhere<\/li>\n<li>Administrative skills, as well as the ability to develop and lead activities and staff at the university<\/li>\n<li>Must have membership\/registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable)<\/li>\n<li>A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Affiliation with a Professional body<\/li>\n<li>Must be adept in the use of MS Office Packages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified canddates should send their Applications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@nileuniversity.edu.ng\"><strong>jobs@nileuniversity.edu.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n31st October, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nYour application must include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your current curriculum vitae (CV) in a PDF, saved with your full name.<\/li>\n<li>A Cover Letter explaining how you meet the advertised criteria (also in a PDF).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nile University of Nigeria is a fast-growing private higher education institution located in Abuja.
