We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Guest Service Agent (Hotel Receptionist)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Front Office<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting Line:<\/strong> Front Office Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking an energetic and well-organized guest service agent whose duties will include greeting guests as they come in, managing the check-in and check-out process, answering questions and requests, and helping with administrative tasks at the front desk.<\/li>\n<li>The Guest Service Agent must be trustworthy and able to work well with little direct supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Manage online and phone reservations.<\/li>\n<li>Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data<\/li>\n<li>Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay).<\/li>\n<li>Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.<\/li>\n<li>Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to clients\u2019 complaints in a timely and professional manner.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests\u2019 needs.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.<\/li>\n<li>Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years work experience as a Hotel Guest Service Agent in a 3 star hotel and above.<\/li>\n<li>Preferable a female.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with OPERA RS.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor.<\/li>\n<li>Customer service attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Degree in hotel management is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:humanresource@johnwoodhotels.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">humanresource@johnwoodhotels.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n2nd November, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Johnwood Hotel &#8211; Centrally located in the Central Business District of the capital city and just 35 km from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Abuja International Airport.
