The role is also open to candidates from Port-Harcourt &amp; Abuja, FCT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for identifying business growth\/promotion platforms around the markets and liaising with the respective internal stake holders to enhance opportunities for tapping on such opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Assess opportunities and drive new product introduction offering to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets.<\/li>\n<li>Develop markets for new and existing products to attain revenue targets.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse growth drivers in the respective markets and align the business to enter those opportunities around such areas as projects versus RTM to achieve revenue targets.<\/li>\n<li>Engage key stakeholders within the regions around new business development so as to position the business towards tapping on the stake holders for business development.<\/li>\n<li>To analyse current business and RTM to highlight gaps and recommend avenues for improvement to maintain\/ grow current business &#8211; customers, product categories.<\/li>\n<li>To manage key accounts relationships to enhance the retention thereof.<\/li>\n<li>To work with internal stakeholders to align towards servicing the key accounts to enhance customer service and customer retention.<\/li>\n<li>To explore business development opportunities with key accounts and execute for attainment of revenue targets.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable to own area customer relationships and said revenue to maximise market advantage, through a strong focus on distributors, end user requirements, customer\u2019s sales teams and customer relationship management, to maximise market advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Own trade within the sale territory.<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for achievement of debt management within area of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>To work across the supply chain, internal and external, engaging customers to promote and demonstrate system value.<\/li>\n<li>Building sustainable relationships to maximise market advantage, through a strong focus on merchants, end user requirements, customer\u2019s sales teams and customer relationship management, to maximise market advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to articulate how our offer stands out, offer technical expertise and advice on the advantages of our comprehensive product range, communicating the value proposition to the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for training of customer base (with focus on customer sales force) on existing products, new products and value add propositions (for example: product handling and stock rotation).<\/li>\n<li>Merchandising as and when required to ensure complete product offering understandable to end user.<\/li>\n<li>Achievement of local demand forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Successful management of call reports.<\/li>\n<li>Working with other team members to develop technical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to strict ethical codes of conduct and maintenance of confidentiality at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifying new opportunities for enhanced product offerings, uncovering and understanding these through application of trained techniques, supply chain knowledge, commercial awareness and in depth knowledge of customers\u2019 businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Achievement of sales target.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to Company reporting procedure\/commercial admin systems, offering appropriate feedback and information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree, Diploma or relevant industry qualification in construction\/building discipline.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience in a sales role, achieving sales targets.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years\u2019 experience working in Africa including Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency in English, French will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s licence.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel daily (locally and internationally).<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness \u2013 ability to identify opportunities and proffer action.<\/li>\n<li>Operating in business to business environment.<\/li>\n<li>Broader understanding of economic drivers preferred<\/li>\n<li>Success at selling new concepts and products.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of and engagement with continuous self-development.<\/li>\n<li>Proven technical competence \u2013 understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate for commercial benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of business process (forecasting, sales reports, presentation skills, supply chain).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in market research (market trends, competition) for the annual budget process.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in working in accordance with sales policies, procedure and internal control measures.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in key accounts, distribution and project sales.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of achieving sales targets.<\/li>\n<li>Assertive, well spoken with good verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good planning and organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.<\/li>\n<li>Resilient, able to work under pressure, dealing effectively with high stress situations.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving logic.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy (SAP, CRM, Ms-Office)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resume to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n4th November, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited &#8211;
