Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Stevens Consulting &#8211; Our client, a leading Engineering and Training Consultancy, is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Training Center Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ota, Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an experienced Training Center Manager to devise our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>You will identify training and developmental needs of Clients and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As an administrator of the Centre, the Training Centre Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction, marketing and management of the Technical Training Center.<\/li>\n<li>Job skills critical to success include: Strong Business Development Skills, general time management; excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and organizational skills; the ability to connect ideas\/opportunities and realities; and a strong personal work ethic<\/li>\n<li>The ideal Candidate is expected to have experience in business development, leadership, human resources, development and education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the day-to-day operations of the Training Centre Planning, recommending and implementing the Training Centre program<\/li>\n<li>Act as the Chief Business Development Officer for the Center and will be responsible for meeting revenue targets<\/li>\n<li>Guiding the development of fundamental change for the Training Centre to facilitate growth and financial strength<\/li>\n<li>Developing a written strategic plan for the program (covering finances, operations, marketing, staff development, communications and policy) with annual objectives<\/li>\n<li>Supervising internal and external communications<\/li>\n<li>Seeking opportunities to develop new revenue sources<\/li>\n<li>Developing contacts and partnerships with other organizations and individuals to increase awareness of the Training Center and advocate on its behalf Working with staff and instructors to establish effective Training Center Intern Team<\/li>\n<li>Developing, implementing and ensuring that both instructors and candidates are seeing both financial success, and positive instructors development<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with the management to ensure that the program serves the company Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and assess future and current training needs of existing and prospective clients<\/li>\n<li>Design technical training programmes and supporting services including identifying course content requirements, appropriate delivery mediums, and personnel to deliver training<\/li>\n<li>Translate the curriculum into a competitive and attractive delivery model<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the delivery of such training programmes through instructor-led, online, blended, and documentation-driven delivery processes<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with strategic partners and other parties to create a positive end\u2010to\u2010end experience for participants.<\/li>\n<li>Implement quality control and continual improvement processes to maintain training content and delivery mechanisms that represent set standards<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with business leads to ensure training programmes and processes are aligned and relevant to critical business priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs for those intending to build a career Engineering and create course content and modules to facilitate such training<\/li>\n<li>Build quarterly and yearly training training programmes as required<\/li>\n<li>Deploy a wide variety of training methods<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate training program\u2019s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them<\/li>\n<li>Manage training budget<\/li>\n<li>Provide opportunities for ongoing development<\/li>\n<li>Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Initiatives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive brand values and philosophy through business development activities.<\/li>\n<li>Set business goals and objectives according to the company&#8217;s needs<\/li>\n<li>Create business plans and develop business strategies to achieve the business goals<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote the business and its products or services<\/li>\n<li>Manage budgets and financial planning for the Training programmes and workshops<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote the business and its products or services<\/li>\n<li>Source for interested participants for Engineering\/Technical training and workshops<\/li>\n<li>Be able to set and meet performance targets for self and subordinates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operational Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate training programmes tailored to the Engineering spectrum<\/li>\n<li>Create surveys for participants after training to track success and progress<\/li>\n<li>Identify the need for technical training and accordingly, arrange training materials and develop training programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the expenses of training sessions and prepare reports of concluded training sessions<\/li>\n<li>Source for seasoned facilitators to facilitate programmes on Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Skill Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc. Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least 3 as a Training Manager in a Training\/Learning Center<\/li>\n<li>Experience implementing and using Learning Management Systems (LMS)<\/li>\n<li>The Training Center Manager must be an excellent communicator (online, on the phone, and public speaking) who can effectively deal with candidate, instructors, and the other staff members.
