\nPlan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
\nDevelop schemes of work and lesson plans.
\nEstablish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
\nPrepare classroom for class activities
\nProvide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
\nIdentify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students\u2019 varying needs
\nInstruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
\nUse relevant technology to support instruction
\nObserve and evaluate student\u2019s performance and development
\nAssign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
\nProvide appropriate feedback on work
\nEncourage and monitor the progress of individual students
\nMaintain accurate and complete records of students\u2019 progress and development
\nUpdate all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
\nPrepare required reports on students and activities
\nManage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
\nMaintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
\nApply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary
\nPerform certain pastoral duties including but not limited to student support, counseling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement
\nParticipate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations
\nParticipate in department and school meetings, parent meetings
\nCommunicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student Progress and student needs
\nKeep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities<\/p>\n
\nA university degree in education or a university degree or HND with PGDE
\nA minimum of 4-5 year teaching experience in a reputable school
\nIGCSE teaching experience.
