Located in Umuahala community of Abia state which is some 25km to the industrial and commercial city of Aba, it is a focused steel manufacturing outfit with the capacity to produce reinforced steel bars of different sizes as well as steel products of various shapes and sizes for the Nigerian market as well as the West African coast. With our dedication to quality, we have also begun the production of Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) rebars of various sizes as well. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Recoiling Electrician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Umuahala, Abia<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an experienced electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in building and poles,troubleshooting malfunctions and blockouts and repairing appliances.<\/li>\n<li>Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to the job, electricians must be first and foremost be a responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidates must also be experience in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.<\/li>\n<li>The goal will be to produce and maintain well functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting ,intercom and other electrical system<\/li>\n<li>Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components<\/li>\n<li>Install electrical apparatus,fixtures and equipment dor alarm and other systems<\/li>\n<li>Install safety and distribution of components (e.g switches,resistors,circuit-breaker panel, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them<\/li>\n<li>Prevent breakdown of system by routinely inspecting and placing old wiring and insulated cables,cleaning circuits etc.<\/li>\n<li>Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree \/ SSCE \/ GCE \/ NECO qualification with 1 &#8211; 2 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as an electrician<\/li>\n<li>Experience in industrial and\/or commercial electrical system<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g wire strippers,voltmeter etc.)and electrical drawing and blueprint<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician<\/li>\n<li>Valid license to practice profession.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Curriculum Vitae and other relevant Documents to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:igst.infotech@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>igst.infotech@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n31st December, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inner Galaxy Steel Company Limited remains our biggest investment in the Nigerian economy yet.
