We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: HR \/ Legal Personnel<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industries \/ Sector:<\/strong> Cargo and freight company<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure proper custody and maintenance of employee files in a secure and confidential manner.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain annual leave roster for the employees.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare training programmes for all employees.<\/li>\n<li>Manage induction\/orientation for new hires.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordination of staff performance appraisal activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist with management of the disciplinary process and implementation of disciplinary committee decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that separated staff clears all obligations before issuance of clearance letter.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Staff Nominal Roll with updates on new hires &amp; exited staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prompt response to staff request<\/li>\n<li>Institution of a rigorous recruitment procedure that ensure complete staff documentation, correctness of employee data and detection of staff with fraudulent intention.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously search for suitable training programmes for all staff.<\/li>\n<li>Draft collateral agreement for transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a response to legal brief from customers<\/li>\n<li>Conduct legal search at land registry on landed collateral<\/li>\n<li>Conduct corporate search on corporate organizations<\/li>\n<li>Review and attend court proceedings<\/li>\n<li>Prepare demand notice and petitions against customers<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with Police Station for loan recovery and client\u2019s prosecution<\/li>\n<li>Attending to corporate services<\/li>\n<li>Giving legal advice in all relationships<\/li>\n<li>Preparing legal and equitable mortgage for the bank<\/li>\n<li>Conducting references for current accounts<\/li>\n<li>Attending all negotiation\/reconciliation meetings with loan clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Law<\/li>\n<li>3 &#8211; 5 years cognate experience as a HR\/Legal Personnel in Corporate Organization<\/li>\n<li>Handles 30 staffs<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>using job tittle as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n13th November, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
