We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Utilities Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Sagamu Brewery, Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Job Requisition ID:<\/strong> 30033053<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Technical Services Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary function of this position is to take the Strategic lead for the Maintenance function in Technical Services and to lead related Strategic Initiatives, ensuring Corporate Governance for equipment and system integrity through the application of and adherence to relevant Standards and Legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage departmental Budget \/ Finances<\/li>\n<li>Lead applicable engineering projects by increasing efficient project planning and execution thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Provides input into new equipment \/ upgrade projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure conformance to specifications and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the risk management program, encompassing occupational health, safety and risk management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure legal compliance in engineering and adherence to legal standards \/ regulations.<\/li>\n<li>People Management Facilitate team problem solving and decision making<\/li>\n<li>Lead the engineering team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment, and team interaction.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of engineering team goals and ensure these are communicated and understood by team members.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular engineering team goal review sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure training need analyses are conducted and training plans developed for team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate competencies are developed in the team, and ensure cross skilling occurs within the engineering team.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates conformance to VPO People, Management, and Maintenance pillars.<\/li>\n<li>Project manage Major equipment stoppages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Standards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure safety, healthy &amp; environmental legislation compliance<\/li>\n<li>Develop employees<\/li>\n<li>Ensure application documented standards<\/li>\n<li>Develop and update engineering standards through the Zone<\/li>\n<li>Ensures a high quality of workmanship is attained from the maintenance team<\/li>\n<li>Plans in place to implement the various maintenance pillar blocks<\/li>\n<li>Sustain what has been implemented<\/li>\n<li>Optimise use of planned maintenance system<\/li>\n<li>Apply formal failure analysis process<\/li>\n<li>Apply relevant engineering spares strategy<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system integrity and change control<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and calibrate packaging mechanical plant and equipment including instrumentation integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc \/ HND in Electrical \/ Mechanical Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 5 Years as sectional engineer\/Maintenance Controller.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Traits &amp; Competences Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A motivated individual with high levels of resilience and the ability to operate in a high-pressure environment Commercial Acumen with strong planning &amp; financial management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Highly developed analytical skills with excellent problem-solving capability<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality is non-negotiable.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership and management capability.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning and organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li>An Innovative thinker, persuasive, assertive and a good negotiator.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to set high standards and bring team along to achieve the standard expectation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to implement the People business processes to lead, motivate, and develop employees.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptionally organised.<\/li>\n<li>High degree of self-discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Able to influence work to be carried through others.<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wd1.myworkdaysite.com\/en-US\/recruiting\/abinbev\/NGA\/job\/Sagamu-Brewery---NIGERIA\/UTILITIES-ENGINEER_30033053\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n16th November, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Breweries Plc &#8211; Our Dream is to bring people together for a better world.
