We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head, Market Risk<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversight and management of the Market Risk Management Group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the Group runs in line with worldwide best practices and responds to administrative issues.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, Review and Implement Policies and Procedures and review Market Risk policies of subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and run the ALCO\/GALCO Market Risk process, and guide the committee to review the most critical Market Risks.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and Run other Market Risk processes in Group Management meetings such as GRMC, BRMC and guide the committee to review the most critical Market Risks.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the staff especially the number 2 position to ensure seamless continuity of the job function.<\/li>\n<li>Other projects and committee membership as required by management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Executive Management is advised of Group Risk positions daily.<\/li>\n<li>Support for Subsidiaries in Africa and the Rest of the World.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Educational Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics and other related disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualifications or MBA is also required.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years work experience required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced accounting skills<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of banking and Treasury Operations<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of accounting policies and accepted principles<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate and manage talent for maximum performance and delivery of targets.<\/li>\n<li>Highly numerate<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jointhetribe.ubagroup.com\/apply?title=Head%2C+Market+Risk&amp;id=147\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n25th November, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is one of Africa&#8217;s leading financial institutions, with operations in 19 African countries and 3 global financial centres: London, Paris and New York.
