We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Team Lead, Web Payments<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective(s):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Team Lead, Web Payment has full profit and loss (P&amp;L) accountability for the product and is responsible for driving the performance of online payments business across the group.<\/li>\n<li>The Team Lead, Web Payment would be required to work with multiple stakeholders; both internal and external to ensure online merchants enjoy a seamless experience using the UBA payments gateways.<\/li>\n<li>The Team Lead, Web Payment would be required to come up unique strategies to target local and international merchants and provide project support during the integration set-up, testing and go-live phase.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she would be responsible for providing trainings and capacity enhancement tools that would foster knowledge and skill development amongst the various business drivers and online merchants.<\/li>\n<li>The product manager would be responsible for implementing appropriate pricing mechanisms that would ensure the product remains competitive and profitable in the market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide supervisory function over the Web Services Team across the group; in terms of product development, support business objectives and sales activities in order to meet budget.<\/li>\n<li>Have oversight of WEB operations as it affects customer experience. E.g. (Timely management of Chargeback disputes, Settlement\/Reconciliation).<\/li>\n<li>Manage WEB integration and Product roll-out.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with card schemes on Fintech \/Aggregator Integrations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure risk &amp; control procedures applies to all Web Merchant Onboarding.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure fraud rates and dispute are below card scheme threshold levels.<\/li>\n<li>Develop WEB that will support the country businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular training to digital officers on WEB Business and Risk Management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure WEB Business is profitable.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure 100% activity ratio.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize all supporting infrastructure for the best customer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitor UBA performance against other banks across the countries.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure UBA is number 1 or 2 in every country.<\/li>\n<li>Timely execution of all projects on products, from Audit, control and other governing departments.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous execution of innovative products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Identify possible and emerging risks and mitigate them.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to group policies and guidelines in terms of new products approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in any relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years work experience required<\/li>\n<li>Masters and\/or other professional qualification will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Professional Qualifications would be an added benefit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jointhetribe.ubagroup.com\/apply?title=Team+Lead%2C+Web+Payments&amp;id=149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jointhetribe.ubagroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here for more information<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n23rd November, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is one of Africa&#8217;s leading financial institutions, with operations in 19 African countries and 3 global financial centres: London, Paris and New York.
