We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Anesthetic Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role is responsible is to provide direct clinical assistance to aneasthetics, safe operational anaesthetic and ancillary equipment in the operating theatre and maintaining a high standard of patient care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Summary of Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stocking &amp; preparation of anaesthetic rooms ensuring all rooms and equipment trolleys are stocked in accordance with stocking list for each theatre<\/li>\n<li>Checking and preparation of anaesthetic machines, intravenous drugs and ancillary equipment including cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of equipment<\/li>\n<li>Preparation, application and establishment of patients monitoring equipment<\/li>\n<li>Provide professional, clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist during all anaesthetic procedures and other times<\/li>\n<li>Receiving patients from theatre reception, checking verbally the full names and hospital number with wrist band and ensure the adequate operative consent has been signed consistent with the operation list<\/li>\n<li>Transferring patients to the operating room and to post-operative care units after procedures<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with safe positioning of patients<\/li>\n<li>When required, provide assistance outside the operating theatre in other units like the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, CT Scanning Suite, MRI Unit, or other areas of the hospitals<\/li>\n<li>Participate in your departmental quality improvement project<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Result Areas\/ Performance Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anaesthetic Rooms to be kept to a high degree of cleanliness<\/li>\n<li>Sterilization of all anaesthetic equipment<\/li>\n<li>Incidence reporting and adequate documentation<\/li>\n<li>Triage<\/li>\n<li>Use of SOPS \/ adherence to quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anaesthetic Technician Certificate<\/li>\n<li>1 year post qualification experience is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Life Support skills<\/li>\n<li>I CARE attitude<\/li>\n<li>Team Player<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/Application_Anaesthetic_Technician\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lagoon Hospitals have pioneered advanced medical care in Nigeria.
