We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Wind Engineering Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are recruiting a full-time Senior Wind Engineering Manager to drive the development and implementation of our existing and future wind portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>The role will initially be focused on managing the wind projects under construction and development and expand into the development of new opportunities and the associated growth and management of the wind engineering team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall lead for technical development of CBE\u2019s wind project portfolio from early lead stage through to financial close;<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing technical support and design review throughout project implementation, network integration and commissioning;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct hybrid sizing, configuration and design including optimal configuration of wind, solar, thermal and storage seeking to optimize for LCoE;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out site and situation analysis of projects and effectively drive the technical development to address high risk and critical path workstreams;<\/li>\n<li>Manage data gathering from customers and associated 3rd parties as required to effectively carry out studies and associated development activities;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the early-stage technical analysis of projects including the engagement with third party consultants and specialists as may be required to carry out specialist studies;<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractor engagement, configuration optimization and detailed design review;<\/li>\n<li>Support the business development team with technical inputs for pricing, proposal materials and customer engagement;<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support during PPA drafting and negotiations;<\/li>\n<li>Project management through implementation including:<\/li>\n<li>Managing Kickoff meeting and ongoing stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<li>Project progress and quality reviews<\/li>\n<li>Management of PPA, Supply and Construction contracts<\/li>\n<li>Support the CBE technical team on an adhoc basis on projects across the full CBE portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering<\/li>\n<li>5+ years\u2019 experience carrying out engineering services related to wind power projects, wind energy project development or project technical due diligence<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the development, implementation and\/or operation of medium to large scale wind energy generation projects \u2013consulting, developer, IPP, operator<\/li>\n<li>Detailed understanding of wind power plant design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enthusiastic about working, traveling, and living in sometimes challenging environments<\/li>\n<li>High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to operate effectively in a changing context<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build strong relationships with partners and colleagues in challenging environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crossboundary.applytojob.com\/apply\/7PwvSnOplS\/Senior-Wind-Engineering-Manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CrossBoundary is an equal opportunity employer.<\/li>\n<li>If you need assistance and\/or reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, please send a request to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:human.resources@crossboundary.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">human.resources@crossboundary.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CrossBoundary Energy (CBE) is the leading provider of clean, renewable, reliable, and affordable electricity directly to businesses.
