We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Research and Development Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Research and Development Manager is responsible for providing solutions to client\u2019s problems and ensuring\u00a0satisfaction with the use of IoT devices, microcontrollers, embedded systems, software platforms etc. to build\u00a0commercially beneficial relationships for both the company and the client(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise research on new technology-based products and solutions to meet the company\u2019s strategy for new\u00a0products and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Product lifecycle management: Lead the utilization of VOC (Voice of Customer) in the development and\u00a0deployment of remote monitoring solutions<\/li>\n<li>Oversee bench and field tests during the product development cycle, pre-deployment simulation tests, and on-site deployment of remote monitoring hardware and software<\/li>\n<li>Vendor management: Facilitate, maintain and negotiate profitable vendor relationships following due diligence\u00a0and risk assessment analysis<\/li>\n<li>Technical project management and process improvement for the on-site deployment of new and existing\u00a0solutions<\/li>\n<li>Guide pricing simulations and analysis with market knowledge on hardware and software input costs<\/li>\n<li>Develop proposed design documents for products and services to guide installation and\/or implementation<\/li>\n<li>Validate and approve all completion reports, test reports, field inspection reports, reports\/documentation of\u00a0problems solved, etc. for management review<\/li>\n<li>Oversee adequate analysis on vendor selection based on quality and cost optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a B.Sc. in Electrical Electronics Engineering, IT,\u00a0Computer engineering, or any relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4 year and above experience in related\u00a0competence.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant knowledge of embedded systems and\u00a0electronic circuits<\/li>\n<li>IoT and Control systems enthusiast<\/li>\n<li>Quality Business Intelligence and data analysis\u00a0experience with relevant tools (data-driven decision making)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills\/Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of process improvement methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RTUs, microcontrollers or PLC systems<\/li>\n<li>Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose\u00a0and solve difficult problems<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Python, API and other relevant\u00a0programming languages<\/li>\n<li>Desire to develop a deep understanding of the business\u00a0and end-user needs<\/li>\n<li>Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient,\u00a0and effective ways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@conceptgroup-ng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@conceptgroup-ng.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Concept Group is a holding company for companies established in 1992.
