We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Kano \/ Abuja, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Depatment:<\/strong> Software Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Keywords:<\/strong> JavaScript, Git, Python, Django<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the position :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Associate, Quality Assurance Engineer will support the development and execution of product quality.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will also assist in the designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>The Associate, Quality Assurance Engineer will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).<\/li>\n<li>Also, perform administrative duties such as maintaining documentation, and project logs. Also, this will involve much customer support activities with different end users of the Product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll do :<\/strong><br \/>\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create comprehensive Test plans<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyze system specifications in collaboration with development team<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans<\/li>\n<li>Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate product features and performance according to specifications<\/li>\n<li>Create logs to document testing phases and defects<\/li>\n<li>Report bugs and errors to development teams<\/li>\n<li>Help troubleshoot issues<\/li>\n<li>Write comprehensive test reports<\/li>\n<li>Conduct post-release\/ post-implementation testing<\/li>\n<li>Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Contribute toward the continuous improvement of project management methodology utilized within the Development team.<\/li>\n<li>Miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned to support the management team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nWho you are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree from College or University in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Development of education and experience in an Agile setting.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in Agile Software Development Methodology<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of JavaScript. Strong background in Python\/Java.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of RESTful API design, usage and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of databases and SQL.
