We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Country Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Bit About the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading strategy and partnerships in Nigeria to enable local payments processing for international merchants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nYour daily adventures include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contacting potential partners-acquirers and banks, building relationships with them<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating and executing commercial partnerships and agreements<\/li>\n<li>Working with internal teams on operations\/product\/technology road maps and integration of partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Analysing performance results and optimizing accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Improving operational capabilities for the different payment methods<\/li>\n<li>Staying on top of local regulatory\/licensing requirements and how it impacts the company\u2019s business<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with merchants and commercial team, focusing on the development of key products<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, attending conferences and industry events<\/li>\n<li>Contacting with local lawyers, accountants, and tax experts in order to ensure the operation is running accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Staying on top of local regulations and engaging with regulators when necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What it Takes To Succeed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to constant change in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, a self-starter, open to working across time zones with teams all over the world<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in payments or other financial systems in Africa<\/li>\n<li>Proven success partnering and working cross-functionally to make things happen<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience negotiating and executing contracts and agreements<\/li>\n<li>Established relevant business network<\/li>\n<li>Someone willing and able to take smart risks based on solid strategy and deep partnership understanding<\/li>\n<li>Team player &#8211; can effectively lead a project or participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations<\/li>\n<li>Curious profile and positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of the market<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge will be considered a plus<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to compliance and understanding of the regulatory environment in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/talentinthecloud.zohorecruit.com\/recruit\/ViewJob.na?digest=ffSwbqwlYGXJiLcwQa611CceCyfbiQiLh.Hlkpm8Jyk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TalentintheCloud launched in 2016 with the vision of helping founders and investors to build scalable FinTechs across Emerging Markets.
