We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>Retail Store Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nWork as a Deputy to the Store Supervisor to handle the following roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the management, operations, and success of the assigned store<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the store is operated in line with the Company\u2019s culture, policies, and standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the store in order and clean.<\/li>\n<li>Take care of a sufficient inventory according to the company\u00b4s order system and inventory policy (no missing items, no excessive stock, fresh products).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all customers are approached in a friendly way.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure as little shrinkage as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the personnel in the most efficient way.<\/li>\n<li>In order to stay ahead of the competition, it is required to apply the principle of the economy to the maximum extent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Stores Supervisor performs all tasks of his Assistants (cleaning, unloading of pallets, working at the checkout etc).<\/li>\n<li>Makes sure that all reports, cash, and receipts are correct and complete.<\/li>\n<li>Makes sure all cashiers are well trained.<\/li>\n<li>Plans the schedule of his team including the holiday plans<\/li>\n<li>Plans the breaks of the staff.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the final calculation and complete documentation at the end of the shift of each cashier.<\/li>\n<li>Is in charge of arranging correct money transfers to the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Is in charge of all cancellations of total receipts, complaints as well as returns from customers. If he judges that a customer complaint is suspicious or unjustified he reports the case to the Area Manager for decision.<\/li>\n<li>Checks the procedure at the checkout<\/li>\n<li>Checks the deliveries from the Warehouse and direct suppliers and reports any delivery mistakes.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all books, reports, and forms in the store.<\/li>\n<li>Decides on orders and order quantities<\/li>\n<li>Makes sure that legal requirements are followed (for example regulations in regard to the sale of alcohol).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for correct counting in case of physical inventories.<\/li>\n<li>Trains personnel for other stores in case required.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for 100 % price label accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of HND \/ B.Sc qualification.<\/li>\n<li>4 years of relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit to stand for hours and lift heavy items.<\/li>\n<li>Lives within a 30 -45 minutes commute to the location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeGDoitV3IviZhqAPTl36guWqqKQ3vNVDwvc9FRUhoq710WtQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wave.ng is a premium entertainment website dedicated to bringing to you, the latest and trending entertainment stories, celebrity gist, sports news, world news, travel news, lifestyle, and tech news.
