We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Operational Manager \/ General Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Resumption:<\/strong> December 5, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles \/ Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies<\/li>\n<li>Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms<\/li>\n<li>Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies<\/li>\n<li>Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs<\/li>\n<li>Manage minimum required stock.<\/li>\n<li>Manage suppliers\u2019 contracts and fix price lists.<\/li>\n<li>Restocking at ordering level. Accordingly, the purchasing department\u2019s purchases materials as per quantity and quality stated therein.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure security of company\u2019s and customers assets.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date information concerning the Record details of complaints and actions taken.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual stock taking exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Specialize, categorize and maintain the suppliers\/vendors register in the system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that suppliers\/vendors assessment are conducted twice every year.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties or responsibility maybe assigned to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Electrical or\u00a0Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience in a facility management company with Engineer background.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:info.awa@amsco-africa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">info.awa@amsco-africa.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b><br \/>\n12th December, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AMSCO is a pan African Company providing personalized human Capital solutions for the development of enterprises.
