We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Food &amp; Beverages Team Leader<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikeja, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributes globally to guest satisfaction through the quality of his\/her work and exemplary behavior<\/li>\n<li>Is responsible for one area of the restaurant, in charge of organization, coordination and waiter service<\/li>\n<li>Provides a high standard of hospitality and service for guests in the F&amp;B point of sale<\/li>\n<li>Helps increase the restaurant&#8217;s revenue through his\/her sales efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Customer Relations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures guest satisfaction in the area under his\/her responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Provides a friendly and personalized welcome for guests<\/li>\n<li>Offers an attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraints<\/li>\n<li>Heeds any remarks made by guests and ensures follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Ensures respect of brand commitments<\/li>\n<li>Conveys the image of the hotel<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Techniques \/ Production:<\/strong><br \/>\nTakes part in the coordination in service operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizes and supervises the work of the commis chefs, apprentices and interns<\/li>\n<li>Carries out and supervises the following tasks:\n<ul>\n<li>Setting up the point of sale and preparation areas<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning and tidying the restaurant and preparation areas before and after closing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Before every work shift, finds out about dish composition and any shortages<\/li>\n<li>Organizes work and adapts timing and relational behavior to suit fluctuations in numbers and types of clientele<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the equipment used remains in good condition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Team Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages his\/her teams on a daily basis and generates a good working atmosphere<\/li>\n<li>Helps train waiting staff, apprentices and interns<\/li>\n<li>Integrates newcomers to the restaurant teams)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Commercial \/ Sales:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offers suggestions, advice to guests and sells the different services available<\/li>\n<li>Increases revenue for the point of sale through additional sales techniques<\/li>\n<li>Helps increase guest loyalty through quality of service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management And Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is actively involved in meeting the department&#8217;s targets:\n<ul>\n<li>By respecting the procedures and internal audits applicable in the hotel<\/li>\n<li>By increasing sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Respects the invoicing and cash operations procedures<\/li>\n<li>Helps manage crockery and appliances by avoiding breakages<\/li>\n<li>May be asked to help with inventories, check deliveries and store food items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hygiene \/ Personal Safety \/ Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations<\/li>\n<li>Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used<\/li>\n<li>Applies the hotel&#8217;s security regulations (in case of fire etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Respects the hotel&#8217;s commitments to the &#8220;Environment Charter&#8221; (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc in Hotel Management or in any related field<\/li>\n<li>Diploma or\/and Certificate in Food and Beverage category in the related field<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years working experience as a Restaurant Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in communication and math skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team and supervise the subordinates<\/li>\n<li>Quick decision making skills<\/li>\n<li>Guest oriented, outgoing and service minded<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of micros and other application programs<\/li>\n<li>Honesty and loyalty<\/li>\n<li>Motivational and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ibisjobadvert@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ibisjobadvert@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n23rd December, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>The position comes with attractive remuneration and company benefits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ibis is an international hotel company owned by AccorHotels, a hotel holding company.
