We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Lecturer (Marketing and Finance)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Central Business District, Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Management of AfriHUB- GDLI invites applications for the position of lecturer for its MSC Trans-National Education program. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who demonstrate innovation in their teaching.<\/li>\n<li>The primary professional responsibilities of the ideal candidate are to provide outstanding lecturing, academic research, and supervisory roles to the institute\u2019s academic department.<\/li>\n<li>The position offers opportunities for teaching at a graduate level and enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in shaping the future development of the institute\u2019s innovative approach to education.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates would enjoy working with diverse cohorts of students and challenging them to fulfil their potential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lecturing courses at the graduate level<\/li>\n<li>Supervising of MSC thesis<\/li>\n<li>Planning and development of academic learning materials<\/li>\n<li>Counselling and advising students on academic needs<\/li>\n<li>Interviewing potential students for admission<\/li>\n<li>Providing academic support to students and colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with other academics and colleagues to improve teaching methods and expand the knowledge base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highest academic qualification, PhD or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Expertise and mastery of the academic discipline.<\/li>\n<li>3 years experience with lecturing at a graduate level<\/li>\n<li>Ability to supervise and review research and case studies.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of international academic program experience.<\/li>\n<li>Research and publication are a big plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a PhD or equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>3 years experience with academic lecturing at the graduate level<\/li>\n<li>3 years experience with academic thesis supervision at the graduate level<\/li>\n<li>IT and Computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Academic publications<\/li>\n<li>Academic counselling skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent presentation, organizational, writing and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Lesson planning, preparation and research, including creating teaching materials<\/li>\n<li>Excellent public speaking skills<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills with attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of academic institution&#8217;s best practices and standards<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytic, effective communication, problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Sound leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@gdli.edu.ng\"><strong>info@gdli.edu.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n31st January, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Global Distance Learning Institute, Abuja is an Affiliate of the Global Development Learning Network (GDLN).
