We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Backend Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Back end \u00a0Developer who is analytical, results-driven who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.<\/li>\n<li>The Back end developer \u00a0will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.<\/li>\n<li>You should have excellent communication, computer, and project management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate actively in requirements gathering and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Work with business analyst to determine the best part of solutions to be implemented.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in requirement gathering process<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the relevant teams and departments to produce software design and architecture<\/li>\n<li>Write clean, readable and testable code that is scalable and well documented<\/li>\n<li>Review code from junior and intermediate developers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain, update, refactor and debug new and existing codes.<\/li>\n<li>Test and deploy applications and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as an expert within your area of competence.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding<\/li>\n<li>Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Record and report data to the appropriate parties, such as clients, leadership or management.<\/li>\n<li>Commit to continuous improvement, education and training to remain current on best practices, new programming languages, and to better assist other team members.<\/li>\n<li>Take lead on projects when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor new developers.<\/li>\n<li>Appraise the performance of junior and intermediate developers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development using PHP and MySQL or any other backend languages.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years experience working with Laravel and\/or Lumen or Express or Django and\/or Django Rest Framework.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in NodeJS, ReactJS and MongoDB would be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must reside in Abuja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Job Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and consume RESTful APIs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills \/ Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel\/Lumen.<\/li>\n<li>Javascript, Node.js, MySQL and MongoDB<\/li>\n<li>Working understanding of frontend web<\/li>\n<li>technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and VanillaJS<\/li>\n<li>Proficient knowledge of version control &amp; SSH<\/li>\n<li>Deep technical understanding of RESTful API\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with cloud hosting platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@uniccongroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@uniccongroup.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n17th January, 2023l<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uniccon Group is the home of innovative and customizable tech products to meet your needs.
