We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Network Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role In Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a key member of our Technical team, you will be responsible for the execution of Technical\/Network strategy, coordinates the Network Operation Centre (NOC) to achieve maximum possible service availability &amp; performance for Brainshare customers. Ensure total customer satisfaction for the Company clients at all time.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Data Center operations including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and monitor all Institutional and special corporate clients\u2019 links.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stable &amp; reliable network services from our upstream providers.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the on-site management of Data Center, contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed in DTC is in accordance with our practices and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with BBC DTC Manager on projects, capacity management, optimization, reliability and efficiency of our facilities in the DTC.<\/li>\n<li>Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on our systems in DTC.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the design, implementation, and commissioning of new facilities in DTC.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing, designing &amp; implement workflows for infrastructure configuration, back \u2013up &amp; management.<\/li>\n<li>Introduce new networking technologies or improve existing technologies to add value to existing services &amp; capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop solutions that drive the success of our network.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in developing policies, procedures and technical reports.<\/li>\n<li>Leverage networking tools to identify &amp; mitigate networks anomalies.<\/li>\n<li>Handles &amp; coordinates network trouble shooting &amp; fault analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates Trouble Ticket generation &amp; swift responses.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates escalation matrix &amp; solution management.<\/li>\n<li>Manages deployment &amp; maintenance of network monitoring, analysis &amp; reporting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates configuration processes on the hardware.<\/li>\n<li>Manages installation of network hardware &amp; software.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and leadership to Technical Support Team in interpreting and reacting to networks issues\/events.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to design &amp; enhancement of the Company Data Center infrastructures.<\/li>\n<li>Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in Network Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account set and network configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Talk Clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they have solve a technical issue.<\/li>\n<li>Provide prompt and accurate feedback to Customers.<\/li>\n<li>Report from time to time to CTO.<\/li>\n<li>Any other Tasks assigned to you by the Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Qualities &amp; Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Holder need to be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree holder in Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering Or Computer Engineering from reputable higher institution.<\/li>\n<li>Must be certified professional in the relevant network engineering certifications like CCNA, CCNP &amp; CCIE etc.<\/li>\n<li>BGP, TCP\/IP, Vlan experience.<\/li>\n<li>A focussed, self-motivated Network Engineer with creative flair who will bring Network strategies to life.<\/li>\n<li>An Engineer passionate about Network Strategies that thrives on delivering exciting performance and content.<\/li>\n<li>A highly effective individual who has an absolute eye for detail and is focussed on improving business performance through exceptional Network \u2013 Strategies\/Solutions execution, reporting and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management skill (advantage).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demand on the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have 3 years and above cognate experience in Network Engineering from telecommunications related organisation, especially ISP firm.<\/li>\n<li>Ability and wiliness to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under none or minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Maybe required to work weekends and in shifts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Age Bracket:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>28 &#8211; 40 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nN150,000 &#8211; N250,000 Monthly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Certificate to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@brainshare.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@brainshare.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n28th February, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BrainShare Technologies is a topnotch IT Company that specializes in quality Network and IT Services.
