Formerly known as Personal Trust Savings and Loans, the Bank was registered in 1993 and operated as a Mortgage Bank until its conversion to a Microfinance Bank in 2014. Personal Trust has a branch network at strategic locations in Lagos State and provides banking services to individuals, micro, Small and medium enterprises (MSME). We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior HR Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Mainland, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting Line:<\/strong> Head, HR\/Admin &amp; Legal<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Senior HR Officer provides HR and Admin support to the department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports recruitment by posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, co-ordinating interviews and support the overall recruitment and hiring process.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the documentation, orientation and onboarding of new employees.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts verification, background and reference check on all employees within seven (7) days of resumption.<\/li>\n<li>Process payroll, pension and benefits in compliance with policy.<\/li>\n<li>Implements the vacation calendar and ensure compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the performance appraisal process and employment confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>Manages the approved training calendar and co-ordinate training activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains an efficient document management system.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains updated personnel records.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate employee enrolment in benefits programs such as health insurance, group life insurance, pension etc.<\/li>\n<li>Provides assistance and information to employees on HR related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares reports on HR indices and personnel activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains an updated HR database.<\/li>\n<li>Manages exit processes including exit interviews and payments of terminal benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinates all HR events.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory of office supplies with attention to budgetary constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor costs and expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain an efficient filing and archive system.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with service providers and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring facility management, including utility operation and maintenance across all branches.<\/li>\n<li>Guide and ensure compliance with all local and laws of the Federal legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare periodic reports on administrative activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine inspection of the office premises to identify maintenance and repair needs.<\/li>\n<li>Implements health and safety standards across the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc in Human Resources or Social Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of completion\/ exemption of\/from NYSC.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of completion of Microfinance Certification program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of four (4) years\u2019 experience in Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Prior managerial experience in similar role or capacity<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices<\/li>\n<li>A strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR regulatory compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong leadership, supervisory and people management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skill.<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude in problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation and communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative and managerial skills.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of MS Office suit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nN180,000 &#8211; N240,000 monthly<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@personaltrustmfb.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@personaltrustmfb.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n2nd February, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Personal Trust is a Microfinance Bank in Lagos and a subsidiary of First Ally Capital Limited (FACL).
