We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Head of Project Management Office<br \/>\n<strong>Position:<\/strong> Senior Staff<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a staff role in the PMO unit of Operations department.<\/li>\n<li>The role requires knowledge and competences in project management, as it is a critical support role in developing adequate project management processes for the company.<\/li>\n<li>While the job is location based, it also necessitates site visits to project locations for data harvesting and coordination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe roles and responsibilities of Project Assistant shall include but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support in data harvesting from both internal and external sources for development of good project management processes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for review, project management processes\/procedures and documents\/templates for tendering purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for review, internal project management templates for deployment to projects.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to operations department tender appraisal team in order to submit robust tender packages for tendered works.<\/li>\n<li>To participate in internal subcontractor\u2019s technical evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>To work with other teams in the Project Management Office to develop proper planning and monitoring metrics for diverse projects being undertaken by company.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, monitor and report the project risk register for different projects.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments and units to develop project needs and practical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare project presentations for the PMO and management use on all projects.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other roles and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Qualifications \/ Competences:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of HND \/ B.Sc in Engineering and Environmental Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>PMI &#8211; PMP\/PRINCE 2\/CAPM certification is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills are required.<\/li>\n<li>Presentations skills are required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a cross cultural environmental is required.<\/li>\n<li>Communications skill is required, fluency in written and spoken English is required.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on competences in the following software:\n<ul>\n<li>Oracle Primavera<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Project.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Suite.<\/li>\n<li>Autodesk AutoCad and Revit.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of any engineering design software.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data analytical and presentation software is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experiences:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years work experience in civil construction project roles, with 2 years in project and technical roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitme@ichrgroup.com\">recruitme@ichrgroup.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n7th February, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV must be sent in Word Doc. form and not PDF.<\/li>\n<li>For further enquiries, call &#8220;Sarah&#8221; on:\u00a0<a href=\"tel:0909-123-4247\">0909-123-4247<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"tel:08100004694\">08100004694<\/a>\u00a0.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>nCorporateHR &#8211; Professionalism is at the core of our business and we at i-CHR are committed to best global practices.
