We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Internal Audit Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proper knowledge of the bank\u2019s policies, processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out periodic value added and risk based audits in all the departments and branches at least once a year to ensure strict adherence to the bank\u2019s Internal Policies and Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out physical verification of assets and reconciles with records maintained in the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prevention and early detection of fraud.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out holistic investigations on frauds and irregularities detected.<\/li>\n<li>Timely visit &amp; Quality Report of snap checks carried out on at least 30-50 customers\/Outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out effective and error Free Call Over.<\/li>\n<li>Produce timely audit reports to the Head, Internal Audit<\/li>\n<li>Carry out daily call-over postings and reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Confirm all fees and commissions paid and earned so as to identify outstanding (if any).<\/li>\n<li>Comply with relevant accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Confirms IT backup, both on-sight and off-sight and reviews backup register.<\/li>\n<li>Verifies asset existence\/reviews Asset Register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relevant Skills, Qualifications, Attributes &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ University Degree in Banking &amp; Finance or Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Student Member of Professional body e.g. ACCA, ICAN, ANAN.<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 4 years\u2019 experience in financial services.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the banking regulations and laws.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Computer Applications Excel \/Microsoft Office\/Banking Application<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication.<\/li>\n<li>Highly attentive to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, consistently adhering to deadlines and evolving priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be between 24 &#8211; 30 years of age (age should be clearly stated on cv).<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented and strong planning and organizing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Unquestionable integrity and high level of commitment.<\/li>\n<li>Cognate experience in a microfinance bank.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of control and risk self-assessment facilitation techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the environment, regulations, and laws.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the common indicators of fraud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@addosser.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@addosser.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n20th February, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ADDOSSER Microfinance Bank Limited plays an important role in widening the finance options available to MSMEs by providing finance for their businesses through value added products and services.
