We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Video Editor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.<\/li>\n<li>Take a brief to grasp the production team\u2019s needs and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes\u2019 value and contribution to continuity.<\/li>\n<li>Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.<\/li>\n<li>Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects<\/li>\n<li>Create rough and final cuts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.<\/li>\n<li>Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry\u2019s best practices to maximize efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography or a related field<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 5 years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience with digital technology<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing<\/li>\n<li>Creative mind and storytelling skills<\/li>\n<li>Maximum age 25.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@smoothpromotionsng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@smoothpromotionsng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n16th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Smooth promotions (HIPTV) is a team family organization where we stay true to our values.
