We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Assistant &#8211; (Nigerian Nationals Only)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Identification:<\/strong> 3000476<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category:<\/strong> Human Resources<br \/>\n<strong>Job Schedule:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Job Shift:<\/strong> Day<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will provide comprehensive and timely information, clerical, and administrative assistance to meet specific HR service needs that support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable.<\/li>\n<li>You will deliver quality support in your role, applying clearly defined HR processes, procedures and service standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles and Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Recruitment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-ordinate the preparation of recruitment schedules for positions.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for contacting short listed candidates and any follow up as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation and make available all relevant materials for position interviews i.e. Job descriptions, interview questions and all materials necessary for the interview.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for making request for\/and payment of reimbursements to interview candidates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Onboarding and Orientation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure person numbers are created for new hires before resumption.<\/li>\n<li>In liaison with position supervisor and other department heads, coordinate the preparation and implementation of orientation schedule for new staff.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that new staff completes all relevant Documents for the Personnel File.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for making workspace and work tools arrangement for new hires working with the IT and Administration team.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for arranging short term accommodation for new hires relocating.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating relocation allowances for new and existing hires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Maintaining Personnel Information\/Records:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining consistently up-to-date Personnel records for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the completion and update of the leave-tracking sheet for staff.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that all leave requests are consistent with CRS\/Nigeria Personnel policy provisions and are documented.<\/li>\n<li>Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure HR leave and benefit database is maintained up to date at all times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for tracking the submission of performance and development plans and appraisals.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for tracking completion of formal coaching sessions in February and June every FY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be familiar with the relevant policy guiding the CRS\/Nigeria employee benefits, and ensure administration of benefits in a timely, fair and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that information on employee benefits is consistently up to date i.e., Leaves, and Children Education etc.<\/li>\n<li>As first contact for all employee benefits claims, verify that requests are consistent with the provisions of the relevant CRS policy.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for processing payments to Employee benefits providers\u2019 e.g., Health care providers, Life insurance providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support in the organization of monthly staff learning events. Take minutes as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties assigned by the Head of HR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>\nBasic Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Law, Business Administration or Social Sciences<\/li>\n<li>1 &#8211; 2 years post graduate experience in Administration\/Human resource management, preferably in an International Organization.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate excellent written and oral Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate a good understanding of contemporary human resource issues and best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Able to maintain confidential information<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service ethic and abilities<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated to perform routine tasks independently and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Required Languages \u2013 English Language is required<\/li>\n<li>Travel &#8211; Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages, in particular Excel and Word.
