It is a technology-agnostic, distributed energy service provider that uses a variety of renewable and fossil fuel primary energy sources to provide competitively priced, predictable and reliable electrical power to small businesses and households across the country. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal and Compliance Associate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As the Legal and Compliance Associate, you will be the focal point for all legal issues and project documentation.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for ensuring that the company remains compliant with federal, state, and local authorities and regulatory institutions throughout the life cycle of all company projects.<\/li>\n<li>You will represent the organization as a legal focal point in all interactions with vendors and third parties, always ensuring that the interest of the organization is safeguarded at all times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, implement, administer and enforce policies and procedures for Enaro Energy that drive compliance with existing laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, negotiate and advise on the preparation of all contracts, licenses and other legal agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal stakeholders to increase awareness and skills in relation to contract management, legal risk, and partnering with other associates to identify potential legal issues as they arise.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on general business law issues and managing legal issues including corporate matters.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on data protection and privacy matters, formulating policies and implementing them.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all regulatory approvals remain current and appropriate for business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Serving as a liaison for all regulatory bodies as well as maintaining relationships with relevant legal bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of regulatory development and industry initiatives and advise management accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Review all documentation that has legal implications for the company prior to signing and implementing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>LLB is highly required.<\/li>\n<li>LLM Preferred.<\/li>\n<li>2-4 years experience in corporate law or compliance role preferably in the Energy Sector.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of regulated energy markets, and regulations of the market.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the off-grid and mini-grid electricity markets.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in modern productivity tools including Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a team.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and eagerness to lend a hand wherever needed, even if a specific task may fall outside the core job description.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@enaroenergy.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@enaroenergy.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enaro Energy is a startup Mini-Grid company that is currently developing a fully commercial, pilot mini-grid project in Nigeria with the intent to scale up and rapidly install several mini-grids&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[226,1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Enaro Energy Available Job Opportunity - Apply now!
