APIN has built a strong partnership with the Nigerian Government, which is memorialized through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Planning Commission. APIN is a leading Nigerian organization in the provision of prevention, care and treatment services to patients with HIV\/AIDS, Tuberculosis; Malaria; Reproductive Health; Family Planning; Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, and other non-communicable diseases of public health significance. We are recruiting a qualified person to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance and Accounts Officer (APIN Medical Lab &amp; Diagnostics)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Requisition ID:<\/strong> api-20239<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-Time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Task:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the General Manager (GM), this position oversees the duties of finance and accounts for the laboratory and diagnostic centre.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information, purchases and preparing financial reports, keeping assets records, and reconciling budget and expenses within the organization.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will be responsible for instituting standard and general accounting procedures suitable for a medical laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain detailed, accurate up-to-date budget information and general operations to inform decision making.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will prepare billings and review invoices and vouchers for the release of funds.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maximum compliance of tax laws, especially for PAYE and withholding taxes in all purchases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess a First Degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Finance.<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or Finance with a professional certification of ICAN or ACCA will be added adavantage.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a minimum of 4-5\u00a0years post-NYSC working experience with at least three (3) years of experience in a private medical laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in medical laboratory billing &amp; invoicing systems, commercial negotiations, financial management, internal controls\/systems development, accounting, auditing, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Must be conversant with all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent financial standards, rules, and regulations relating to good financial management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to solve problems, exercising good judgment will be an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apin.org.ng\/vacancies.html?jid=47978-finance-and-accounts-officer-apin-medical-lab-diagnostics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n10th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>APIN Public Health Initiatives Limited\/Gte, formerly known as AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria is a non-governmental organization registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
