We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-Time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category:<\/strong> Commercial<br \/>\n<strong>Job Status:<\/strong> Interviewing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position exists to provide direct business partnering and financial support to MSION commercial Operations which includes our social marketing (SM) channel, Centre and Mini-Clinic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Production of high-quality financial analysis of our Centre and social marketing operations and daily analysis report of both primary and secondary sales<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to prepare the monthly management account on WD8 which includes<\/li>\n<li>Detailed analysis of what\u2019s driving each of the channel\u2019s surplus\/deficit<\/li>\n<li>Production of Management commentary from BI on the reason behind the surplus\/deficit variance against budget\/forecast and the action plan to be taken going forward<\/li>\n<li>Commentary on the variances of each cost category against budget\/forecast and the action plan to be taken to be in line with budget\/forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Product profitability analysis which includes margin breakdown for each product<\/li>\n<li>Detailed SM debtor\u2019s and Health Finance Insurance analysis including ageing report, payment tracking and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Management of each of the Channels overheads including support office cost allocation<\/li>\n<li>The channels balance sheet related items and working capital analysis report<\/li>\n<li>Cashflow management<\/li>\n<li>Inventory reporting for the three channels operations, including oversight of inventory forecasting, supply chain KPI\u2019s, regulatory compliance (for instance, any changes in regulations regarding import of pharmaceutical products)<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the SM(Pillar 3) and Pillar 2 Director in regular business reviews<\/li>\n<li>Leading on cost reduction initiatives in the commercial channels<\/li>\n<li>Advising on product pricing and price waterfall management, including financial management of promotional initiatives and marketing schemes.<\/li>\n<li>Perform a deep dive analysis on all marketing cost proposal to ensure there is a ROI on each marketing activities which needs to be evaluated after the activity.<\/li>\n<li>Working with the MSION finance director to develop and oversee operational and financial controls procedures and AFB initiatives within the channel.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible with the SMD\/Centre CL to produce a high-quality business case to support new product launches, market opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Support the channel, leading in overseeing the operational performance of key business partners including:\n<ul>\n<li>Distributors<\/li>\n<li>Suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce (productivity and profitability)<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of all commission and bonus scheme payments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Identification of financial risks in the commercial channels, along with mitigating strategies<\/li>\n<li>Review of any new contracts<\/li>\n<li>Involves in reviewing the credit limit setting and rebate\/discount structure<\/li>\n<li>Rigorous monitoring of expenditures against planned budget and unfunded cost which can be spent based on service income generated.<\/li>\n<li>Support the channel leads in developing new business opportunities whether this be new channels, new geographies or expansions of product and service offerings in existing channels<\/li>\n<li>Lead in the channels annual BP process and quarterly forecast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>MSION Behaviours \/ Core Values \/ Statement<br \/>\n<strong>Personal Attribute:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinker, excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong results orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent leadership and management aptitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pro-choice:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in public health, particularly sexual and reproductive health<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to operate in a changing environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified \/ Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA).<\/li>\n<li>Degree-educated or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prefered Skills:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Experience &amp; Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least five years post qualification, and with relevant experience of management accounting\/business partnering in a commercial entity, ideally in the FMCG or pharmaceutical distribution sectors<\/li>\n<li>Experience in strategic planning and execution of plans to achieve objective and targets.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success in formulating policy, development, and implementation of strategies<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of financial management systems and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with computerised Accounting Systems;
