We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Dental Surgery Assistant (Dental Nurse)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing Patients for dental procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Operate technical dental machines in the diagnosis and treatment of patients<\/li>\n<li>Assist dentist in examining dental and oral health of patients<\/li>\n<li>Assist dentist in attending to patients within the allocated time for waiting and treatment<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all Practices\u2019 policies and procedures on diagnosis, treatment, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Input, update and keep accurate records of Patients\u2019 dental structure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma in Dental Health is required. Additional certification or training is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years post-College of Health Technology and progressive experience as an assistant within the private and public sectors.
