We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> 10787<br \/>\n<strong>Work Location Type:<\/strong> In-office<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Accounting\/Auditing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for supporting accounting functions, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring implementation of accounting control procedures, and accounts reconciliation (bank statement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis role will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure financial statements comply with regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all accounting entries are created and entered in the system on a timely basis.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining internal financial controls.<\/li>\n<li>Review and process expense reports.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and verify vendor files and payments.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee payroll functions including worked hours, overtime, holidays, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile accounts for monthly closing.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in annual audit.<\/li>\n<li>Protect the integrity of financial data.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a positive working relationship with employees, departments, suppliers, and government entities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional fluency in both written and oral English.<\/li>\n<li>5 or more years of accounting experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of payroll systems.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with MS Office tools.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-focused and organized.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to spot trends and insights from data analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ynvgroup.jibeapply.com\/tek-experts\/jobs\/10787?lang=en-us&amp;iis=Job+Board&amp;iisn=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Tek Experts is an equal opportunity employer.
