We are recruiting on behalf of our client to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ilupeju, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> General Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our client is looking for a Laboratory Supervisor who will take responsibility for all aspects of the laboratory including analysis, calibrations, equipment maintenance, supplies, documentation, customer acquisition and management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare reagents and carry out analysis in line with laid down procedures<\/li>\n<li>Prepare documentation from start to finish relating to the relevant operation of the laboratory and compliance ISO 17025 quality management system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples are adhered to strictly.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor depletion of laboratory reagents and other consumables and ensure continuous availability to prevent any downtime.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)is implemented at all times including proper housekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare proposals to customers, respond to RFQs by generating quotations and proactively making outbound follow up calls to generate orders<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Sales Administrator to ensure up to date information on outstanding VAT and WHT and follow up with customer for the receipts\/payments<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key performance indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timeliness and accuracy of reports, data, and information<\/li>\n<li>Level of participation in company activities<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency testing evaluation report<\/li>\n<li>Sales revenue and collection<\/li>\n<li>Customer acquisition and retention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A First Degree or its equivalent in any of the Chemical Sciences<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of experience as a Laboratory Supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n20th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
