We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Video Editor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Temporary<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a skilled video editor to create and upload weekly compilation videos for our three YouTube channels.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have experience editing short video clips and the ability to work under tight deadlines. He\/She will be based in Port-Harcourt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Edit short video clips into engaging compilation videos for our three YouTube channels.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that each video aligns with our brand values and target audience.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with our content creators to ensure that the video content is aligned with our editorial calendar.<\/li>\n<li>Add transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the video content.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our video content is fresh and innovative.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the production workflow for each video project, including organizing footage and adding captions or subtitles as needed or if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with our social media team to promote video content on various platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance of our videos on YouTube and provide recommendations for optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and within budget.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the video production process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highest degree: SSCE \/ NECO.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in video editing and production.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other editing software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong storytelling skills and ability to create engaging video content.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with YouTube and social media platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio of previous video editing work showcasing short-form video content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nN20,000 &#8211; N30,000 monthly<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Resume and Proof of previous video editing work to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:career@icitymedia.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career@icitymedia.net<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n11th April, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please attach proof of previous video editing work or provide links to your portfolio or previous projects.<\/li>\n<li>Only applications that include a resume and proof of previous video editing work will be considered.
