We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Associate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Full Time, Fixed Term &#8211; 9 months (renewable)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We seeK a procurement associate who will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services to foster the actualization of programme objectives and ensure compliance with Options procurement policy and donors\u2019 regulations.<\/li>\n<li>The post holder will work closely with the pooled team and report to Options Nigeria Senior Finance &amp; Operations Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the coordination of Options Nigeria procurement process with accurate, timely, and auditable records; manage tender evaluation processes including preparation of evaluation reports, recommendations and associated correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the compilation and completion of procurement documents; act as procurement committee secretary and maintain a list of preferred suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance of the vendors including annual appraisals to guarantee high-quality services are always provided.<\/li>\n<li>Support the conduct of due diligence on all vendors to identify and mitigate risks associated with them before contracting in line with Options Zero tolerance to fraud and bribery policy.<\/li>\n<li>In a timely fashion, develop and implement annual procurement plans for the acquisition of goods and services to foster programme deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional qualification or Degree in a relevant subject (or relevant experience level).<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning and time-management abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nN3,000,000 annually<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Options offers a comprehensive benefits package including generous annual leave allowance, medical insurance and 13th month pay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n24th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/options.co.uk\/jobs\/procurement-associate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Interview Date:<\/strong><br \/>\n27th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.
