We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Accounting Expert<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type<\/strong>: Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a Senior Accounting Expert who will, provide accurate information for financial reporting and have specialized knowledge of all processes and procedures. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.<\/li>\n<li>May act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate will report to the\u00a0Accounting &amp; Tax Manager EA and WA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare annual financial statements, lead, and manage statutory audit process.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate monthly and quarterly booking closing financial reporting activities including Trial balance comparative analysis, making necessary adjustment entries on SAP such as provisions, accruals &amp; recurring entries in adherence to reporting guidelines &amp; deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed Assets Management including asset count &amp; verification &amp; following through on discrepancies, if any.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate monthly balance sheet pack reconciliation and review meetings with all the Finance stakeholders. Drive resolution of variance with stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate payments of foreign based vendors in compliance with Central bank of Nigeria regulations and monitor vendors payment process.<\/li>\n<li>Drive Financial Reporting Manual (FRM)\/ IFRS compliance, General ledger management, process improvements and functional KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly monitoring of Internal controls &amp; follow ups to ensure proper approvals &amp; timely archiving of support documents.<\/li>\n<li>Hyperawareness of business regulations &amp; local laws &amp; ensure operations within the same.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in cross functional projects &amp; drive continuous improvements projects for accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Drive stakeholder management meetings and follow through on agreed actions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ad-hoc projects or any other duties as required from Accounting Manager and\/or Finance Director, as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>We believe you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of First University Degree (Bachelor) or equivalent in Accounting \/ Finance or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Chartered member of Institute of Charted Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)\/ACCA or in view<\/li>\n<li>Min. 5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with SAP (A must have non-negotiable)<\/li>\n<li>Having worked in a multinational will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in use of MIS and financial Reporting Systems is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English, both spoken and written.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills &amp; excellent team player.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across boundaries.<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven to deliver results independently.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to details &amp; results oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Practical Knowledge of IFRS \/ Local GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools especially excel.<\/li>\n<li>General knowledge of statutory regulations and tax laws, rules &amp; regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer You<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape<\/li>\n<li>A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results<\/li>\n<li>An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.tetrapak.com\/job\/Lagos-Senior-Accounting-Expert\/904031101\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Tetra Pak, we commit to making food safe and available, everywhere, and we protect what&#8217;s good &#8211; protecting food, protecting people and protecting the planet.
