We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Quality Assurance Engineer will use software testing tools to automate repetitive testable use cases, find bugs, provide detailed reproductive steps, and perform scheduled regression tests, Security tests, API tests, performance tests, Internal acceptance tests etc. The QA Engineer will work in tandem with the development team to ensure the health and stability of the production environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Relationships :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to: Lead Quality Assurance Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Department: Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases<\/li>\n<li>Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools<\/li>\n<li>Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs<\/li>\n<li>Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved<\/li>\n<li>Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements<\/li>\n<li>Monitor debugging process results<\/li>\n<li>Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions<\/li>\n<li>Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three (3) years\u2019 proven experience in similar role<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in an Agile\/Scrum development process an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SQL, scripting, HTML5, Postman, Cypress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Competencies and Capabilities: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven work experience in software quality assurance<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to execute automation testing<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and strategic thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility, determination, and enthusiasm<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Time Management Skills<\/li>\n<li>Superb time management Skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Advanced problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Observant and able to remain focused on tasks for long periods of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working conditions:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role is 100% remote<\/li>\n<li>Equal opportunity<\/li>\n<li>The role is open to anyone who meets the above criteria regardless of race or nationality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@advancly.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@advancly.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n27th March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advancly Technologies is a credit technology company that innovates access to credit through the power of data and technology.
