We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal and Compliance Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review all relevant statutory laws and regulations applicable to the Company and ensure compliance with these<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies,and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all regulatory permissions remain current and appropriate for business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Continual compliance risk assessment of company practices together with the development of internal policies and procedures, compliance training, and protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as liaison for all regulatory bodies as well as maintaining relationships with relevant legal bodies and trade associations.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry initiatives and advise management accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with third parties, together with the company\u2019s management, that wish to understand the company\u2019s control environment, compliance policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide reporting with respect to regulatory requirements and developments<\/li>\n<li>Develop compliance checklists and prepare compliance reports, as and when due<\/li>\n<li>Inform the Internal Audit unit of any findings as regards non-compliance that may require investigation<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with best practices<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Business Process Re-engineering exercises to ensure controls therein<\/li>\n<li>Carry out review of SLA Manuals to ensure applicable regulatory laws are incorporated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Legal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of compliance documentation with relevant constitutive documents for statutory, legal, regulatory purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with all the subsidiaries within the Company\u2019s Group, service providers, external legal advisers, and government agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance and review of Legal Agreements<\/li>\n<li>Developing and overseeing that the company meets its compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation, drafting and implementation of the terms of agreements in all business contracts and agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for providing legal support in controlling customer complaints to mitigate the risk of litigation<\/li>\n<li>Review all documentation that has legal implications for the company prior to signing and implementing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Law.<\/li>\n<li>LLM (an advantage)<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years of working experience with a reputable law firm.<\/li>\n<li>I.T knowledge (particularly in Excel and Word)<\/li>\n<li>High level of determination and tenacity<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Compliance activities in Healthcare Services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing and managing compliance monitoring programs.<\/li>\n<li>Articulate, effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally (lawyers, regulators, auditors) at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@imagediagnosticsng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@imagediagnosticsng.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n29TH March, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Image Diagnostics is a Medical Imaging and Clinical Support Center with a vision of providing excellent diagnostic and medical services.
