We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager &#8211; Budget and Business Planning, Finance<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<strong>Job Requisition ID:<\/strong> 2493<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Senior Manager, Finance Services &amp; Control Technology<br \/>\n<strong>Division:<\/strong> Finance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To manage, co-ordinate and oversee the activities of the business and budget planning for Network Group and to coordinate the development of NWG strategy in line with MTN Nigeria strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze the assumptions in the business plan to guarantee an appreciable level of predictability and to reduce unexpected results.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and circulate monthly report of NWG KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the telecom industry as well as future developments and their impact on MTNN business plan.<\/li>\n<li>Seek input from marketing to develop Network Group budget and business plan and strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Embark on extensive research in mining data from current operational realities and impact analysis on business plan forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out business plan forecast in line with organizational requirements and based on the set NWG rollout\/build objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare NWG quarterly capital expenditure board papers and obtain approval from MTNN board.<\/li>\n<li>Review monthly actual expenditure in line with budget assumption to facilitate quarterly Opex and Capex forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Accounting or Economics or related area of study.<\/li>\n<li>A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).<\/li>\n<li>MBA is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\n6 &#8211; 13 years\u2019 experience which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising\/managing others.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a medium to large organization.<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience covering similar functions in multinational Manufacturing or Telecommunication companies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a large GSM Network roll out environment would be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in market\/industry research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ehle.fa.em2.oraclecloud.com\/hcmUI\/CandidateExperience\/en\/sites\/CX\/job\/2493\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b><br \/>\n13th April, 2023 (10:59 PM).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MTN Nigeria &#8211; The leader in telecommunications in Nigeria, and a part of a diverse community in Africa and the Middle East, our brand is instantly recognisable.
