We currently serve clients across various sectors of the Economy from locations in Jos, Port Harcourt and Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Egbeda, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Real Estate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide legal counsel where and when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring legal compliance where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies<\/li>\n<li>Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance<\/li>\n<li>Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations<\/li>\n<li>Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulator, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust<\/li>\n<li>Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company\u2019s full legal rights<\/li>\n<li>Any other delegated responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Law required; must have been called to bar<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be proactive in the resolution of issues<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability, logical reasoning and sound judgment when professionally handling client\u2019s cases<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal communication skills when working with clients, members of the court and other employees<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of various legal contracts, documentation, processes and policies especially within the real estate, Fin-tech and Technology Industry<\/li>\n<li>Proven background in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)<\/li>\n<li>Current license to practice law<\/li>\n<li>Administrative and Managerial experience preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/alanandgrant.zohorecruit.com\/recruit\/PortalDetail.na?iframe=true&amp;digest=rbvoMH8jlrfU2TPRxKEvynGAUnkE7bVo.a85bxdBEmQ-&amp;jobid=444948000037349077&amp;widgetid=444948000000072311\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alan &amp; Grant &#8211; Our work is focused on creating innovative HR and Organizational Development Solutions aimed at Performance Improvement &amp; Business Growth.
