We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Data Protection &amp; Privacy Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Identification<\/strong>: 266<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Schedule<\/strong>: Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to<\/strong>: Head, EBS Location EPAC<br \/>\n<strong>Direct Reports:<\/strong> Protocol, Transportation &amp; Logistics, Mailing\/Courier Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the primary point of contact within the organization for members of staff, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the company\u2019s policy is in accordance with General Data<\/li>\n<li>Protection Regulation (GDPR) and codes of practice<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues<\/li>\n<li>Devise training plans and provide data protection advice and support for members of staff<\/li>\n<li>Inform and advise the Data Controller or Data Processor on all matters related to data protection<\/li>\n<li>Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization Daily and Monthly Responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Hold training with staff members across different business units who are involved in data handling or processing.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively conduct audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of all data processing activities carried out by the company<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the point of contact between the company and the data protection authorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Skills \/ Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Data Protection Officer \/ CISSP \/ CISM<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge on ISO 27001\/ISO 22301 (lead auditor\/implementer), PCI-DSS and PA-DSS is an important element<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Security Experience, at least 5 years in Data Protection field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Managing Projects Proven track record of achieving results and managing teams.<\/li>\n<li>Constructively manage all stakeholders and break barriers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and lead effective and successful teams<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinker combined with skills of thinking outside the box<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively use technology to leapfrog the competition \u2022<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Withstanding pressure without it having effect on efficiency or quality<\/li>\n<li>Open to change and ability to create and drive change<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and diagnostic skill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fa-emqf-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com\/hcmUI\/CandidateExperience\/en\/sites\/CX_1004\/requisitions\/job\/266\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>12th May, 2023 (12:50 PM).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), a public limited liability company, was established as a bank holding company in 1985 under a private sector initiative spearheaded by the Federation of West African&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[37],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) Recent Vacancy-Apply Now!
