We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Epiroc Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Epe, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties \/ Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To carry out daily checks as per checklist, prevent and repair defects.<\/li>\n<li>To report all major defects to either the Service Manager.<\/li>\n<li>To find fault and repair equipment under contract to Epiroc standards.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all relevant documentation (work order, Operator\/ Mechanical\/ productivity checklists) is complete as per requirement.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all tools, workshop facility and equipment are used correctly and kept in good working condition.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure good housekeeping in the workshop.<\/li>\n<li>To report on incident\/accidents damage caused by the client.<\/li>\n<li>Work shift rosters as required.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that customer demands are met in terms of response, service etc.<\/li>\n<li>Training of customers on the operations of machines and their safe usage.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous development by taking up training courses where necessary<\/li>\n<li>To perform other related work as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>To be available 24\/7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements (Education and Experience)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technician \/ Craft Certificate or any related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Mining Machinery, Epiroc, Sandvik, Atlas copco is highly desired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Knowledge, Attributes, Skills and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to identify mechanical problems and apply diagnostic methods to achieve satisfactory results.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively test , adjust and repair works<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret Hydraulic\/ Pneumatic\/Electrical drawings<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify, organize and use resources effectively to complete tasks with due regard to cost, quality, safety and environmental impact.<\/li>\n<li>Function as an effective member of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and apply safe systems of work.<\/li>\n<li>Accept responsibility for work of self and others.<\/li>\n<li>Work reliably and effectively without close supervision, to the appropriate codes of practice.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and show a strong sense of urgency.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to show strong Reporting capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Travel frequently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To conduct and attend SHEQ talks.<\/li>\n<li>To wear correct PPE at all times<\/li>\n<li>To ensure good housekeeping in the workshop<\/li>\n<li>To report all incident\/accidents to the immediate supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Employees to protect their own health and safety<\/li>\n<li>Employees to protect health and safety of others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/HMszjnVwQxpP2yo3A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HMD Africa is the leading multi-brand distributor of machinery, equipment and parts in West Africa.
