We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Engineering Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing software developers, improving software performance and security, ensuring the smooth delivery of each part of the product feature from ideation to go-to-market and document processes and integration.<\/li>\n<li>Someone with a deep interest and experience in Crypto\/Web 3 who has a history of building successful products and managing high performing engineering teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objectives of this Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the entire project delivery using all resources available and managing the engineering team<\/li>\n<li>Identify, interview, and present good engineering candidates; ensuring roles are filled within timelines for the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence<\/li>\n<li>Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships<\/li>\n<li>Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs<\/li>\n<li>Develop, track and control the development of operating and capital budgets for purchasing licenses<\/li>\n<li>Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate our technology features and create plans for each<\/li>\n<li>Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs<\/li>\n<li>Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics<\/li>\n<li>Develop and oversee all system design and changes in system architecture<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for the security of the product and ensure there is no security risk<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Product Manager and CEO on new products and enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and support front-end and back-end development teams. Also involved with coding<\/li>\n<li>Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements<\/li>\n<li>Conduct interviews for new engineering hires and oversee their onboarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess an HND \/ B.Sc Degree<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of agile methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating value proposition definition, cost benefit analysis<\/li>\n<li>Embedded in the Bitcoin &amp; Crypto ecosystems and is a thought leader in the evolution of consumer-facing crypto products<\/li>\n<li>Understanding technical aspects behind product feature and functionalities<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV \/ Resume to: <strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@myfurex.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@myfurex.co<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FUREX is an innovative, technology-driven company that has existed for five years.
