You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment in all locations and client site.<\/li>\n<li>Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs in any assigned locations and client site.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement and maintain an effective program of equipment and preventive maintenance work.<\/li>\n<li>Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts and component such as valves, pumps and bearings<\/li>\n<li>Carry out overhaul and adjust pumps, valves, separators, ventilators etc<\/li>\n<li>Perform equipment inspections to ensure that the equipment is safely maintained and operable.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner aiming for maximum reliability<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that any inconsistencies are further investigated and problems are pinpointed exactly<\/li>\n<li>Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues<\/li>\n<li>Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventive measures to machine users.<\/li>\n<li>Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and engine components by cleaning, replenishing fluids and applying lubricants to them.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of parts and supplies by assessing jobs and determining parts that are needed for the job.<\/li>\n<li>Perform Any other job assigned by your Supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or any other related program.<\/li>\n<li>10 &#8211; 15 years relevant experience as mechanical engineer in any reputable power distribution company only<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use ET for troubleshooting is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Caterpillar engine experience is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Must have proven knowledge of how to use various hand tools and precision measurement tools.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate sound technical knowledge in diesel and gas driven engines.<\/li>\n<li>Caterpillar engine experience is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of plant equipment, such as pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, valves, turbines, and other industrial machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication and teamwork abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nOpen to Negotiation Plus other welfare packages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to: <strong><a href=\"mailto:jobs.people2profit@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs.people2profit@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong> using &#8220;Mechanical Engineer&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>15th June, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: You need not apply if you don\u2019t have at least 10 years of work experience in any power distribution company only.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>People2profit-NG &#8211; Our client, a Power Generation and Distribution company, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Lagos Employment Type:&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2870],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>People2profit-NG Limited Current Job Opportunity - Apply Now!
