Our passion for quality is showcased through our curated selection of arabica coffees from esteemed farms across the globe, featuring over a dozen single-origin coffees from renowned coffee-producing regions such as El Salvador, Colombia, Jamaica, and East Africa. Our gourmet coffee is batch roasted to ensure a consistent and exceptional coffee experience, whether enjoyed in Nigeria\u2019s bustling commercial capital, Lagos, or at renowned caf\u00e9s worldwide. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Locations:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja and Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsibility for general accounting and book keeping according to local, international and industry requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver on accurate reports to Management in accordance with agreed\/Stipulated timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring financial transactions and review supporting documentations.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the company\u2019s inventory Management function, including inventory tracking, costing and valuation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate supply and timely delivery of materials.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>To handle ad hoc assignments.<\/li>\n<li>To assist in preparing periodic financial reports both for internal and external Stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement procedures to ensure timely processing of all accounts payable, invoices, requisition purchase orders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain adequate records of accounts owed, process timely payment of all liabilities and conduct periodic checks of departmental payables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Professional Membership of ICAN, ACCA, ICAEW may be added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Accounting package\/software e.g. QuickBooks, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and Communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word is essential.<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 years experience in similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:kayode@maishayicoffee.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kayode@maishayicoffee.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>13th June, 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mai Shayi Coffee Roasters Limited &#8211; Founded in 2019 by Ibrahim Samande, Mai Shayi Coffee Roasters Limited is a premier specialty coffee brand in Nigeria, dedicated to bringing Nigerian coffee\u2019s&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
