We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Service Desk Support Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively manage WIOCC&#8217;s service desk channels, be the client first-contact champion and ensure all client issues are ticketed to meet quality and performance levels that ensure client delight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Client query\/issue handling. Ensuring client queries or issues are captured, validated, and open tickets for further processing by the NOC.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with clients. Ensuring that various types of information are communicated to clients through the appropriate channel(s).<\/li>\n<li>Automation. Ensuring improvement of the above two processes through analysis, reviews, and reporting, as well as through automation, competence building, knowledge sharing and other organizational changes.<\/li>\n<li>In conjunction with client service managers, conduct client satisfaction surveys and generate reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of client satisfaction\/lack of it once an incident is resolved \u2013 through calls\/emails among others.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and coordinate the escalation for urgent and complicated support issues to the respective teams.<\/li>\n<li>Establish new and report of existing progress reports and performance metrics to measure system effectiveness and productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor problem management database and follows up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.<\/li>\n<li>Generation of various service desk reports in an accurate manner and distribution in an effective and timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors client complaints and addresses issues raised.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate on policies and standard operating procedures with department head.<\/li>\n<li>Identify service concerns, issues, challenges and liaise with other stakeholders to ensure problem is promptly actioned.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure data integrity of ticketing systems.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors service desk channels and collects performance data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in IT, Telecommunications\u00a0(or equivalent) in a related field<\/li>\n<li>ITIL certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires minimum of 2 years experience in telecom industry including experience in service desk, customer service or similar fields.<\/li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communications skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfil requests or enable resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains records, informs users about the process, and advises relevant persons of actions taken.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of at least one trouble ticket system, NetSuite (desirable)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications and soft skills, including ability to listen to and summarize and concisely share key information with clients.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Client focused, confident, relationship builder<\/li>\n<li>Personal excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative, achieve results through teamwork and partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Integrity, honest with high ethical standards<\/li>\n<li>Boundless, passionate, and flexible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV including three (3) Referees to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:applications@wiocc.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">applications@wiocc.net<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WIOCC is the leading player in the deployment of carrier-scale, future-proofed network infrastructure into Africa.
