They are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Engineer (Building &amp; Construction)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the General Manager, you will perform various functions to ensure that projects under supervision are well coordinated and executed efficiently and on time.<\/li>\n<li>These activities are carried out bearing in mind the objectives of the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To manage the whole project life cycle from negotiation phase to delivery phase including health, safety, quality and environmental standards<\/li>\n<li>To manage the project team on what is feasible and achievable during before and after project execution<\/li>\n<li>To analyse and create project risk mitigation plans before and during projects<\/li>\n<li>To manage the individual project life cycle within the defined project governance<\/li>\n<li>To conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all projects or contract documents so as to be familiar with every detail and\/or requirements<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating internal resources and contractors for the smooth execution of projects<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that projects are delivered on time and within the budget and scope<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the availability and efficient allocation of resources<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the development of a detailed project plan to monitor the progress<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for developing project objectives and scopes, involving all relevant stakeholders and also ensuring technical feasibility of each project<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing the changes in project scope, schedule, and cost<\/li>\n<li>To measure project performance using the appropriate tools and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing the relationship with clients and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>To assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company\u2019s relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership<\/li>\n<li>To train and mentor employees in areas of project management and estimating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Civil Engineering \/ Building Technology or Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, out of which 3 must be in a managerial capacity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan and see the \u201cbig picture\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Competent in conflict and crisis management<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time and project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of all facets of the construction process<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with construction management software packages<\/li>\n<li>Experience with techno commercial issues to include tendering, contract negotiation and vendor management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent Communications skills \u2013 both oral and written<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal relations skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective conflict management skills<\/li>\n<li>Must possess exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Application Letter and CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@sunroseconsulting.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@sunroseconsulting.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunrose Consulting Limited &#8211; Our client is a leader in the crystalline concrete waterproofing solutions and construction chemicals sector.
