We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Communications Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Brief<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way our company is perceived by key audiences.<\/li>\n<li>You will drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communications process from concept to message development to result-oriented evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop PR and external comms strategies in partnership with business leads to advance business objectives<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the production of promotional materials including releases, media kits, and presentations<\/li>\n<li>Use social media to tell our story in creative and inspiring ways that resonate with various audiences<\/li>\n<li>Manage website content and design to ensure delivery of clear and creative content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Develop and Implement Communication Strategies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create comprehensive communication plans that align with organisational objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Identify target audiences and develop tailored messaging for each group.<\/li>\n<li>Utilise various communication channels (such as newsletters, websites, social media, and press releases) to deliver key messages effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Brand Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and enhance the organization&#8217;s brand identity and reputation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across all communication materials.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor brand perception and make necessary adjustments to messaging and strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internal Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate effective internal communication within the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and ensure alignment with organisational goals.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and organise internal events, meetings, and town halls to promote transparency and foster a positive work culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>External Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as the organisation&#8217;s spokesperson and main point of contact for media relations.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and relevant industry influencers.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and distribute press releases, manage media inquiries, and coordinate interviews or statements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Crisis Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to ensure effective handling of potential crises or issues.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary communication liaison during crises, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Mitigate potential reputational risks through proactive communication strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Content Creation and Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create engaging and informative content for various platforms and channels.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the organisation&#8217;s website, blog, social media accounts, and other digital communication channels.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyse communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years&#8217; of experience in communications operations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in a similar communications role, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit or impact for profit environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.<\/li>\n<li>Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with media relations and crisis communication.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN150,000 &#8211;
